What our post-construction cleaning in Newcastle removes

Construction dust is fine enough to settle on every surface and get inside every cupboard. Our team works top to bottom so dust isn't knocked onto surfaces that are already clean:

• Dust – from cornices, door tops, architraves, skirting boards, light fittings, vents and exhaust fan covers, and inside cupboards, drawers and wardrobes.
• Paint, plaster and filler – spots and smears removed from glass, frames, tiles and fixtures, using tools and products suited to each surface.
• Silicone and adhesive – excess silicone smears and sticker and label residue removed from windows, tapware, appliances and fixtures.
• Protective films – peeled from appliances, windows and fixtures once you're ready.
• Windows and tracks – glass cleaned inside and reachable outside, and tracks vacuumed and wiped clear of grit and sawdust.

Cleaning in stages

Larger builds usually need more than one visit:

1. Builders clean (rough clean) – once major trades are finished, we remove dust, debris and residue so finishing trades and inspections aren't working in a mess.
2. Final clean – after the last trades, a detailed clean of every surface, inside and out of cupboards, glass, tracks and floors.
3. Touch-up (sparkle clean) – a quick visit just before handover, a practical completion inspection or settlement, to catch dust that has settled since the final clean and any marks from last-minute work.

Smaller renovations often only need a final clean. We'll recommend what suits your project when you request a quote.

What we need from you

• Trades finished in the areas we're cleaning, or a clear plan for which areas are ready.
• Builder's rubbish, offcuts and skips cleared before we start; we take away our own cleaning waste.
• Power and water connected so we can run our equipment and use hot water.
• Site rules – if your site needs inductions, sign-in or specific personal protective equipment, tell us at quote time so we can plan for it.
• Key dates – tell us your inspection, handover or settlement date, so the final clean and touch-up land as close to it as possible.
